Courtesy & replacement vehicles
Ask when you book and we'll arrange a vehicle for the duration of your repair. If your ICBC coverage includes a rental, we'll set that up on your behalf instead.
Whether it's a scuffed bumper or a vehicle that needs to come apart to the shell, the standard doesn't change. Free estimates on everything below.
Modern vehicles are engineered to absorb a crash in a specific, deliberate way. High-strength steel, aluminum panels and bonded structures all behave differently under impact — and they all have to be repaired according to the manufacturer's published procedure, not by feel.
We measure the structure before we start and again before it leaves. If a component is specified as replace-only, we replace it. That's not us being cautious; it's the difference between a vehicle that looks repaired and one that will protect you the next time.
Typical work: frame and unibody straightening, panel replacement, welded and bonded repairs, bumper and structural components, post-repair measurement.
We look up the published repair procedure for your specific make, model and year before deciding how to approach the job.
Structural dimensions are checked against factory specification, and we'll show you the readout.
Cameras and radar modules behind bumpers and windshields need recalibration after many repairs. We identify what's required and make sure it's done.
Our workmanship is covered for as long as you own the vehicle.
Where the paint is intact and the metal isn't stretched, a dent can be worked back out from behind the panel — no filler, no primer, no repaint. Your factory finish stays exactly as it left the plant, which is better for the repair and better for your resale value.
It's also faster and cheaper. Many PDR jobs are done the same day, and for smaller dents the cost often lands below an ICBC deductible, so paying out of pocket can make more sense than opening a claim. We'll tell you honestly which way works out better for you.
Good candidates: door dings, shopping-cart dents, hail damage, shallow creases with unbroken paint.
Not a candidate: cracked or chipped paint, sharp dents on a body line, or damage on panel edges — those need conventional repair, and we'll say so rather than sell you a service that won't hold.
No refinishing means no colour-match risk and no paint history on the panel.
Most single-panel dents are finished within a few hours.
Multi-panel hail work quoted per panel, with a clear total before we start.
If PDR isn't right for your damage, we'll quote you the repair that is.
A repaint only works if you can't tell where it starts. We pull your vehicle's paint code, mix to it, and then verify the mix against the actual panel — because paint fades differently depending on how a car has lived, and a code alone won't always match a ten-year-old finish.
Refinishing is done in a controlled booth, then blended into the adjacent panels so the transition is invisible under daylight rather than only under shop lights.
Typical work: scratch and scuff repair, bumper refinishing, single-panel respray, multi-panel blending, clear-coat repair, colour sanding and polishing.
Mixed to your paint code, then checked against the panel itself before anything is sprayed.
Filtered, temperature-controlled spraying and curing — the reason a proper finish stays flat and free of contamination.
Colour is carried into neighbouring panels so there's no visible edge where old meets new.
Colour sanded and polished so the repair matches the texture of the surrounding paint, not just the colour.
Not every repair belongs in an insurance claim. If the damage is near or below your deductible, paying for it directly is usually the better outcome — you keep the deductible in your pocket and the claim off your record.
We'll quote the job both ways so you can compare real numbers instead of guessing, and tell you plainly which one we'd choose. The work itself is identical either way: same process, same materials, same written lifetime workmanship warranty.
Typical work: bumper scuffs and cracks, single-panel dents, door dings, key scratches, mirror and trim damage, and small rust repairs caught early.
Claim versus direct pay, side by side, so the cheaper route is obvious before you commit.
A repair you pay for directly never reaches your insurer, so it cannot affect what you pay next year.
Without an adjuster in the loop there is no authorization to wait on, so smaller jobs move quickly.
Paying directly changes nothing about the standard. The written lifetime workmanship warranty applies exactly as it would on a claim.
As an accredited member of the ICBC Repair Network, we can prepare your estimate in-house without sending you to a claim centre first. Report the incident to ICBC, bring us the claim number, and we handle the documentation and the adjuster from there.
We work with private insurers in exactly the same way. If you would rather not open a claim at all, see private repairs above — we will quote the job both ways so you can compare the real numbers.
A collision is disruptive enough. These are the pieces that keep it from taking over your week.
Ask when you book and we'll arrange a vehicle for the duration of your repair. If your ICBC coverage includes a rental, we'll set that up on your behalf instead.
If your vehicle isn't safe to drive, don't drive it. Call us and we'll arrange recovery to the shop and fold the details into your claim.
Every vehicle is cleaned inside and out before handover. Sanding dust doesn't belong in your car, and neither does a repair you can smell.
There is no flat rate — cost depends on which panels are damaged, whether the structure moved, and what the manufacturer specifies for the repair. A scuffed bumper is a few hundred dollars; structural work runs into the thousands. We give you a free, itemized written estimate breaking out parts, labour and paint separately, so you can see exactly what you are paying for before anything starts.
Yes — provided it is done properly. We pull your vehicle's paint code and mix to it, then check the mix against the actual panel before spraying, because paint fades with age and a code alone will not match a ten-year-old finish. Colour is then blended into the adjacent panels rather than stopped at the seam, so there is no visible edge where new meets old.
Usually, yes — often significantly. Paintless dent repair needs no filler, primer or paint, so it takes hours rather than days and costs a fraction of a conventional panel repair. For smaller dents it frequently lands below a typical ICBC deductible, which can make paying directly the better option. It only works where the paint is unbroken and the metal is not stretched; we will tell you honestly if your damage is not a candidate.
Yes. We look up the published repair procedure for your specific make, model and year before deciding how to approach a job, which matters more now than it used to — modern vehicles mix high-strength steel, aluminum and bonded structures, and each behaves differently under impact and has to be repaired its own way.
No, but it helps. You can bring the vehicle in during opening hours, or send photos through our online form and we will come back to you with a written estimate — usually within one business day. Booking ahead simply means we can look at it with you properly rather than between other jobs.
We photograph it, show you, and re-quote before continuing. Impact damage frequently hides behind panels, so this is common on collision work. If you are going through insurance we submit a supplement request; work on the additional damage does not begin until it is authorized. You will never find out about extra cost after the fact.
Yes — a written lifetime workmanship warranty covering our labour for as long as you own the vehicle. Parts carry their own manufacturer warranties, noted on your invoice. You receive the warranty document when you collect the vehicle; you do not have to ask for it.
Send a couple of photos of the damage. We'll tell you what it needs, what it costs, and whether a claim is worth opening.
